MES (Manufacturing Execution System) is a system used in manufacturing to track and document the transformation of raw materials into finished products.

The MES provides information that helps manufacturing decision makers understand how current conditions on the factory floor can be optimized to improve production.

To make the decision possible, users enter notes during production. A note can be any information that you want to track at run time, such as, for example, the consumption of raw materials, or even how muchntity dand hours produced, as well as the quantity of parts produced, including machine information for quality inspection and process control.

The MES system will compare what was planned with what is actually being executed, being able to optimize the entire production line, from the moment the order is issued until the material is made available for entry into stock in SAP Business One and movement through the WMS.
